My name is Clara Tosi,

I hold a PhD in Chemistry, with research focused on carbon dioxide capture and storage. I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at universities in Italy, Germany and France.

After eight years of academic study and research, I decided to combine my strong scientific background with my artistic creativity and become a professional scientific illustrator.

During my PhD, I worked in both academic and industrial research. This helped me understand the specific communication needs of both settings. Having studied science myself, I am familiar with the challenges of preparing presentations and posters, as well as research proposals and scientific publications. I am always happy to support a fellow scientist!

My role is to help scientists communicate their message to their intended audience as effectively and engagingly as possible. I speak fluent Italian, English and French and can adapt any illustration to these languages. Every project can be tailored to an academic or general audience, opening the way to constructive dialogue for better science.
